Sales and Marketing

Through our Sales and Marketing Program, MHM assists each property in creating its own marketing plan. We review each plan on a monthly basis to ensure both the implementation and results are effective, keeping the property-level sales personnel accountable. Our sales plan accounts for past and known demand drivers as well as any additional business or transient drivers of room nights, including brand RFPs, door-to-door sales or sales calls, online marketing efforts (TripAdvisor, Facebook, brand site, etc). Our oversight and guidance from hiring through training and day-to-day work is what leads to success at our hotels.

Executive Vice President Erik Biggs began his hotel management career in sales. Mr. Biggs has hired, trained and managed many Directors of Sales in his decade-plus of Hotel Management, in addition to serving as a hotel manager himself.
